Guadeloupe Beaches, by Area
A guide by area to help plan your beach days in Guadeloupe, with the closest car rental pickup zone for each spot.
Grande-Terre
Le Gosier, Sainte-Anne and Saint-François are home to many of Grande-Terre's easily accessible beaches, including Caravelle beach in Sainte-Anne. Le Moule, on the Atlantic coast, is more focused on surf spots.
Basse-Terre
On the Basse-Terre side, the Deshaies area combines beaches with a botanical garden, while Bouillante is better known for its diving spots and seaside hot springs. Sainte-Rose completes the picture with its beaches and mangrove, north of the national park.
Marie-Galante
Marie-Galante is known for its wide beaches and slower pace, reached by ferry from Trois-Rivières or Pointe-à-Pitre.
Les Saintes
Les Saintes stand out for their bay and narrow streets, where walking or scooters are often preferred to enjoy the coastline of this small archipelago.
